Features of the Use of Visual and Textual Narratives: New Media, Literature and Scientific Journals

Abstract

The study of the integration of visual and textual narratives is one of the most relevant topics in the period of continuous development of modern digital technologies. They are important elements of digital media. The integration of visual and textual narratives enhances the perception of information, improves communication with the audience, and increases the impact of the content. However, it can be seen that there are problems in this area in terms of coherence and coherence, in terms of manipulation and disinformation, on the technological and aesthetic side. In this research paper, we will consider visual and textual narratives in three areas. The first of these is the integration of visual and textual narratives in the context of new media, while the second is the features of visual and textual narratives in literature. And the third analyzes the transformation of visual and textual narratives in scientific journals. In the process of considering visual and textual narratives in these three areas, we will try to determine which direction has priority by comparing them. These studies allow us to draw certain conclusions about the integration of visual and textual narratives. On the theoretical basis of the research work, the features of visual and textual narratives in social networks in the direction of new media were considered. And on the integration of visual and textual narratives in literature, attention is paid to the works of Kazakhstani literati. Innovative elements in scientific journals are differentiated. This is because their interactivity, hypermediality and algorithmic nature are essential for understanding visual and textual narratives in social networks, literature, science.
