The revitalization of local traditions can be a key effort in protecting local values amid the growing influence of globalization. This article discusses the crucial role of revitalizing local traditions in preserving community identity and strengthening cultural resilience. Using a qualitative approach, this study explores various efforts to preserve local traditions, including government policies, community participation, and the integration of technology in preservation initiatives. The findings indicate that revitalizing local traditions not only contributes to the preservation of cultural heritage but also enhances young generations' awareness of their cultural roots. Furthermore, the successful revitalization of local traditions requires synergy between the government, communities, and the private sector to create an ecosystem that supports cultural sustainability. The implications of this study highlight the importance of innovation in preserving local traditions and adaptive strategies in response to changing times. Thus, the revitalization of local traditions can serve as a solution to modernization challenges while reinforcing unique local identities.
